I normally speak in English only so that you can be fully immersed in the language. As most of our students come from South East Asia, I sometimes conduct English lessons that are supplemented by Cantonese or Mandarin, depending on students’ levels and needs. But no worries – I will make sure you understand everything in our lessons whatever language we use!

You only need three things: a computer or a cell phone, a stable internet connection, and the free video conferencing tool Zoom.

Well, you don’t really need to prepare much considering the fact that I will prepare everything for you. Instead of preparing materials, I would love it if you could bring your enthusiasm for English learning to the classes! I will give you all my best strategies, but nothing works if you are not motivated at all.

As mentioned above, I will get to know you and your language goals and come up with a learning plan for our upcoming lessons together. You will know from our first 30 minutes together that you are definitely going to progress with me!

Most students ask for conversation practice. If this is also what you like, the lesson is going to be 100% conversational! We will discuss a wide range of interesting topics in a completely stress-free environment. I will make brief notes for you during the lessons, so that you know which areas need correction or improvement. You do not need to worry about making notes at all and you can simply focus on speaking.

Of course if you want to learn something other than conversational skills, you are free to make your own requests and we will work towards your goal with a tailor-made plan.
